Film Noir Festival – Palm Springs, CA – May 28-31, 2009 A compilation of interviews from some of this year’s special guests: Anne Jeffreys – Riff-Raff (1947), Sherry Jackson – The Breaking Point (1950), Robert Loggia – The Garment Jungle (1957), Patty McCormack – The Bad Seed (1956) and Ann Rutherford – Inside Job (1946). The lighting was too dark in the theatre and the video didn’t turn out, but the audio was too good to waste. Interviews conducted by Alan K. Rode, Foster Hirsch and Kim Morgan. Alan K. Rode presented several special screenings at this final installment of the unique CINEVENT film fan festival that celebrates early film and selected gems through the 1950’s. The 50th annual event was held October 28-31 in Columbus, Ohio.
